Owner of HBL, Lorreta was born in Cabo Verde and now lives in Boston. Hair has always been central to her identity and culture. She has styled hair since age 13, turning her passion into purpose.

Hair by Lorreta grew from creativity and care. She specializes in microlocs and her original Root Braids technique—styles that showcase growth, strength, and authenticity from the root.
